Roof Project

In this project, we built a roof out of wood, and used sandpaper to create siding, and tar paper.

Here is what a gable roof looks like:

There are many advantages and disadvantages of the gable roof system. Some advantages are that water can freely flow off the roof, and that it has space for an attic. A disadvantage is that gable roofs tear off very easily in hurricanes.

Reflection:
1. I learned about the different types of roofing systems and how the are constructed.
2. I liked building something with my hands and working with balsa wood.
3. I didn't like using hot glue because it dries very chunkily.
4. If I were to do this project again i wood use Elmer's glue.
